United States Postal Service (USPS), has been experiencing IT problems affecting the generation of EDI messages. USPS is currently working with its IT department to resolve the problem. Based on initial investigations, it appears that some messages are not being processed properly and that pre-advice of dispatch (PREDES), pre-advice of consignment (PRECON) and carrier/documents international transport advice (CARDIT) are currently affected. The team is monitoring and assessing the extent of the impact. Any updates will be provided as soon as more information is available.
