Batam, May 29, 2019 – Homecoming is a tradition of sociability for most Indonesian people ahead of Eid al-Fitr. In Indonesia, homecoming is always a ritual to be able to celebrate Eid in our hometown with our family and other relatives.
To strengthen the relationship between customers, partners and the Company, on May 29, 2019 PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) dispatch 600 free homecoming participants on the route of Batu Ampar Batam Port to Belawan Harbor, Medan. This free homecoming activity is expected to strengthen the emotional bond that exists between customers, partners and the Company.
This program is a synergy of Pos Indonesia and the Ministry of BUMN by carrying the theme of Mudik Bareng BUMN. Symbolically the release was carried out by the Head of West Sumatra Regional II of PT Pos Indonesia (Pesero) Bermansyah and PKBL VP of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Zulfa Ernaldi at the Batu Ampar Port of Batam.
"This program is an embodiment of Pos Indonesia's social responsibility and concern for the people who will go home to Eid to gather with their families in their hometowns," said VP PKBL Zulfa Ernaldi when releasing participants from the BUMN Homecoming.
Not only that, Zulfa added, through this program, Pos Indonesia also helped the program of BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri work in synergy with the Ministry of BUMN to jointly facilitate and ease the burden of the Indonesian people through Mudik Bareng BUMN program.
