Boyolali, July 19, 2025 — The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, paid a working visit to the Boyolali Post Office to directly monitor the distribution of the 2025 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU). This activity served as a concrete example of government oversight of the implementation of social assistance programs to ensure they are targeted, transparent, and free from irregularities. "I have a message for all recipients: use this assistance productively. Don't use it for useless things like online gambling. This BSU is to help with children's school needs, basic necessities, and household needs," said Gibran.

Accompanied by Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer and Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Aminuddin Ma'ruf, as well as the Board of Directors of PosIND, the Vice President emphasized the importance of using the assistance responsibly. The Vice President emphasized that this government assistance must be used wisely to support the welfare of workers, especially those earning less than IDR 3.5 million per month.

Acting President Director of PosIND, Endy P.R. Abdurrahman stated that the Vice President's visit demonstrated the government's confidence in PosIND's readiness to distribute aid professionally. "We are grateful that the BSU distribution process ran smoothly without long queues or technical issues. This demonstrates the Post Office's readiness as a professional aid distributor. By integrating digital and physical services, we ensure that aid is distributed on time and to its intended targets," Endy said.

In the 2025 BSU program, PosIND was entrusted with distributing aid to 8.5 million out of a total of 17.3 million recipient workers. As of July 18, 2025, the Boyolali Branch Post Office had distributed aid to 12,538 workers out of a total target of 18,366 recipients, or 68.7%. "PosIND prioritizes accuracy and efficiency by utilizing an internal dashboard system, data validation from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and digital technology support through the Pospay application," Endy continued.

PosIND's Financial Services Business Director, Haris, added that PosIND is developing a distribution strategy based on service flexibility. "BSU (Subsidy Assistance) can be disbursed at work locations such as factories, as well as at all post offices in Indonesia. We are open every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, until 9:00 PM. We want to ensure all workers have easy access, even those without bank accounts," he said.

The Pospay application is a vital part of the PosIND digital ecosystem. In addition to checking aid status, the application provides a QR Code feature for secure and fast disbursement of funds. Furthermore, PosIND utilizes SMS and WhatsApp Plus to expand notification reach for recipients, especially in areas with limited digital access.

PosIND aims to complete all BSU distribution by July 31, 2025. By leveraging the strength of its post office network throughout Indonesia and a reliable digital service system, PosIND demonstrates its commitment as a strategic partner to the government in distributing social assistance quickly, safely, and accountably. "The government's trust motivates us to continue innovating and providing real solutions for the people," concluded Endy.
