Jakarta, September 24, 2025 – PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Sulawesi Utara dan Gorontalo (Bank SulutGo/BSG) officially signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Pospay service. The signing took place in the Board of Directors Meeting Room at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Head Office in Jakarta, and was attended by the board of directors and management from both parties.
This collaboration is part of the two companies' strategy to strengthen the digital financial services ecosystem, particularly through the Pospay B2B service. This service allows people in North Sulawesi and Gorontalo to access a variety of convenient payment transactions, from bill payments and taxes to remittance and investment services, through Pos Indonesia's extensive network and the Bank SulutGo channel.
Operational Director of PT Bank SulutGo, Louisa J. Parengkuan, expressed her appreciation for the synergy that was established:
"This collaboration will facilitate banking services in remote areas, even for customers living outside of North Sulawesi and Gorontalo. For example, people residing in Jakarta but with payment obligations in Manado can now conduct transactions without having to return to their hometowns. We hope this collaboration will increase business potential while providing the best service to the community."
PT Pos Indonesia's Financial Services Business Director, Haris, emphasized that Pospay is a crucial part of the company's digital transformation.
"Pos Indonesia continues to transform from manual to digital services. Pospay is our digital channel, now used by millions of customers. This collaboration demonstrates that today is the era of collaboration. With this synergy, Pos Indonesia and Bank SulutGo can complement each other to provide broader and more inclusive services to the public."
As an initial step, this collaboration focuses on PLN electricity payment services through the Pospay and Bank SulutGo networks. The PLN biller was chosen due to its broad user base and routine community needs, making it a strategic entry point for introducing the benefits of digital transactions more widely.
Furthermore, this synergy also strengthens the Pospay B2B business line operated by Pos Indonesia and Bank SulutGo. Through this B2B channel, the two companies can provide integrated payment solutions for the corporate sector, local governments, and other institutions. Thus, the benefits of digital financial services are not only felt by individuals but can also support business activities and the financial governance of institutions across various sectors.
Haris also added that Pos Indonesia has four main business portfolios: courier-logistics, financial services, property, and other related businesses. In the financial services sector, Pospay is positioned as a digital channel capable of supporting a variety of services, from payments and insurance to credit, investments, and savings.
This collaboration not only strengthens the businesses of both institutions but also represents a strategic step in supporting government programs in the area of financial inclusion. Pos Indonesia, with more than 22,000 service points spread across the country, boasts a comprehensive network that reaches even remote areas. Meanwhile, Bank SulutGo, as a regional development bank, has close ties with local communities and plays a vital role in the economic development of North Sulawesi and Gorontalo.
With this collaboration, Pospay will further strengthen the penetration of digital financial services, simplifying public payments, while simultaneously enhancing the business potential of both parties.
The synergy between Pos Indonesia and Bank SulutGo also aligns with the vision of both companies to support regional economic growth. Through the integration of financial services, people from all walks of life can enjoy easier, faster, and safer access to services.
"We hope that this collaboration will not be merely ceremonial, but will be implemented effectively, providing significant benefits to the community. Let us work together to ensure this synergy becomes a reality and grows together for the benefit of the nation," Haris added.
