PosIND Provides Scholarship Assistance for Children of Postal Retirees

PosIND Berikan Bantuan Beasiswa Bagi Anak Pensiunan Pos

Bandung – Director of Human Capital Management of Pos Indonesia Asih Kurniasari Komar handed over the Scholarship Assistance Program for Children of Postal Retirees. The handover was carried out symbolically to Amrizal as Acting. Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Postal Retirees Association (PPPOS) at the Bandung Pos Indonesia Head Office.

The amount of assistance handed over was 150 million rupiah. Furthermore, the assistance will be distributed through PPPOS branches in the regions. This Scholarship Assistance targets families of Pos Indonesia retirees who are still studying at elementary, junior high, high school/vocational school, and university levels.

The Director of HCM Pos Indonesia said that the Scholarship Assistance Program for Children of Postal Retirees is expected to support the educational needs of retiree families.

"This program is a form of the Company's concern in supporting families of Postal Retirees to be able to produce intelligent generations who will later become the pride of the family," continued Asih.

During the event, the Acting. Chairman of the Central Board of PPPOS expressed his gratitude. "Thank you for the assistance that has greatly helped retirees in the current conditions. Hopefully, Pos Indonesia will continue and continue to provide attention to the welfare of Pos Indonesia retirees," continued Amrizal.

The Postal Retiree Children Scholarship Assistance Program is one of the programs for retirees that has been running since 2021. Several other programs for retirees include Wheelchair Assistance, Home Renovation Assistance, Flood/Fire Victim Assistance, and various training to improve the skills of prospective retirees and retirees.

The total budget that the Company has allocated for this program is recorded at more than 1.8 billion rupiah.

The scholarship assistance for children of postal retirees is one of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs as stated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Sustainable Development Goals (TPB-4) on Quality Education.
