PosIND Holds 2025 LPU Implementation Training to Improve the Competence of 206 Branch Managers in Maluku, Sulawesi, and Papua

Manado, November 2025 — Pos Indonesia Digital Investment (PosIND) held the 2025 Universal Postal Service (LPU) Implementation Training, attended by 206 Branch Managers of LPU Sub-Branch Offices from Maluku, Sulawesi, and Papua. This activity is a strategic step to strengthen human resource capacity and improve the quality of universal postal services so that they can be provided evenly throughout Indonesia.
The 2025 LPU Training is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of universal postal service implementation, from operational aspects, public services, financial management, to business development and communications. Through a comprehensive curriculum, PosIND encourages the improvement of Branch Manager competencies as the spearhead of postal services in various regions.
At the opening session, several officials provided guidance regarding postal service transformation and strengthening the digital ecosystem. Present were the Director General of Digital Ecosystems at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), Dr. Edwin Hidayat Abdullah; the Director of Post & Broadcasting at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), Gunawan Hutagalung; the Director of Digital Ecosystem Development at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), Sony Hendra Sudaryana; Prasabri Pesti, Director of Business Development & Portfolio Management at PosIND; Hadi Purnomo, Head of the Postal Service Effectiveness Improvement Team; Yuli Saputro, Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management at PosIND; and Jaka Sunara, EVP of Region 6 for Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua at PosIND.
The first day's activities included training on Customer Experience, financial management and LPU SIM (SIM LPU), leadership, and selling and acquisition strategies. This material was designed to strengthen the role of Branch Managers in ensuring the consistent implementation of universal postal service standards, especially in areas with high operational challenges.
In his briefing, Prasabri Pesti emphasized the vital role of frontline human resources in the transformation of postal services. "This training is not just about upgrading skills, but part of PosIND's broader transformation to ensure universal postal services deliver the same quality—both in large cities and in the 3T (third-third) regions. Branch Managers are our spearhead, and through this training, we want to ensure they are ready to lead change," he said.
On the second day, the training was attended virtually via Zoom by PosIND's President Commissioner, Prof. Muhammad Budi Djatmiko, who emphasized the importance of integrity, service accuracy, and adaptability to digital acceleration in LPU operations. Participants then received technical materials such as ADP Mapping, MSME and seller acquisition through digital platforms, Pospay and PosAja service innovations, and upselling and cross-selling strategies.
Through this series of LPU 2025 Trainings, PosIND affirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of universal postal services, especially for communities in island, remote, and 3T (frontier and remote) regions. Improving human resource competency is the main foundation for ensuring postal-based public services are accessible to all without exception, while strengthening PosIND's contribution to providing inclusive and sustainable services.
