Jakarta, July 21, 2025 – The launch of 80,000 Red and White Village Cooperatives marks a historic milestone in strengthening the people's economy in Indonesia. This national initiative, officially launched by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, aims to build village independence by making cooperatives the primary driver of local economic growth.

Also present at the event were the Acting President Director of Pos Indonesia (PosIND), Endy Pattia Rahmadi Abdurrahman, and the Director of Business Development and Portfolio Management at PosIND, Prasabri Pesti, as a concrete demonstration of PosIND's support for strengthening the cooperative ecosystem and the village economy.

In his remarks, President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the importance of cooperatives as pillars of national independence. "The Red and White Village Cooperatives are a new force for the national economy. We want our villages to be strong, independent, and prosperous. To that end, we need concrete support from all parties, including state-owned enterprises like Pos Indonesia, which have extensive networks reaching even the most remote areas," said the President.

As a logistics and financial services company with a physical presence in more than 4,000 sub-districts, PosIND is trusted to play a strategic role in supporting the operations and distribution systems of these cooperatives, from providing courier services and digital finance to providing a local partnership platform.

The Acting President Director of PosIND, Endy Pattia Rahmadi Abdurrahman, expressed the company's commitment to supporting this movement. "We view village cooperatives not only as partners, but as part of a community empowerment ecosystem that we must safeguard together. With PosIND's strong infrastructure, we are ready to become the backbone of logistics and financial services for these cooperatives," Endy stated.

As part of its long-term strategy, PosIND is also developing digital collaboration by integrating village cooperatives into the PosAja! and PosPAY app ecosystems, enabling cooperatives to reach a wider market with technology-based services.

Prasabri Pesti, Director of Business Development and Portfolio Management at PosIND, added that digital transformation is key to the future success of cooperatives. "We want cooperatives to be strong not only in villages but also connected to the national economy through PosIND's digital solutions," he said.

The launch of these 80,000 cooperatives symbolizes national mutual cooperation between the government, state-owned enterprises, and communities in realizing economic sovereignty from villages across Indonesia. PosIND serves as a strategic partner to ensure each cooperative operates quickly, efficiently, and integrated.
