PosIND Supports the People's School Program, Attending the Inauguration of 166 Schools by the President of the Republic of Indonesia

Banjarbaru, January 12, 2026 – PosIND attended and expressed its support for the People's School Program, which was officially launched by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, at the Integrated People's School (SRT) 9 in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan. This event was part of the 2026 People's School Program Launch series organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

At the event, PosIND was represented by the Acting President Director of PosIND, Haris, as a demonstration of the company's commitment to supporting the government's efforts to expand access to quality and equitable education for those in need.

President Prabowo Subianto officially launched 166 People's Schools across 34 provinces and reiterated the target of building 500 People's Schools by 2029 as part of the national strategy to break the chain of extreme poverty through the education sector.

The Acting President Director of PosIND, Haris, emphasized that PosIND fully supports the implementation of the People's School Program. "PosIND supports the People's School Program as a concrete step to expand access to education for those in need. We are ready to collaborate and contribute according to PosIND's role to support the sustainability of this program," said Haris.

The People's School Program is the result of collaboration across ministries and institutions, with a target of each school accommodating up to 1,000 students. If the target of 500 schools is achieved, this program has the potential to serve up to 500,000 students across Indonesia.

PosIND's presence at the inauguration and launch event affirms the company's support for this national program focused on human resource development and improving the quality of education in an inclusive and sustainable manner.
