Kesra

Bandung, November 28, 2025; The Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Syaifullah Yusuf, directly inspected the distribution of the 2025 Temporary Direct Cash Assistance for People's Welfare (BLTS Kesra) at the KCU Asia Afrika Post Office in Bandung on Friday (11/28). This visit was conducted to ensure the acceleration of aid disbursement to beneficiary families (KPM) and to ensure that distribution proceeds in an orderly, safe, and targeted manner.

BLTS Kesra is a government policy that increases regular social assistance for 35 million beneficiary families (KPM) with a one-time payment of IDR 900,000 for the October–December 2025 period. This assistance aims to maintain the purchasing power of vulnerable communities as the year draws to a close.

During the visit, the Minister of Social Affairs was accompanied by the Acting President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), Haris, and officials from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Pos Indonesia.

Pos Indonesia's BLTS Kesra Distribution Reaches 62.8 Percent

The Acting President Director of Pos Indonesia, Haris, stated that Pos Indonesia has once again been entrusted by the state to distribute this assistance to the public, with an allocation of more than 11 million beneficiaries for the second phase of distribution. Of the total allocation of 35 million beneficiaries, the Ministry of Social Affairs distributed BLTS Kesra through PosIND, with an allocation of 11,608,913 beneficiaries. As of Friday, November 29, 2025, PosIND had distributed BLTS Kesra to 7.6 million beneficiaries.

"To date, Pos Indonesia's distribution has reached 62.8 percent. We are optimistic that we can complete all distribution by the end of November," said Haris.

Pos Indonesia implements three distribution mechanisms:

Payment at the Post Office: serving the public at formal Pos Indonesia service points.

Community payments: utilizing public spaces such as sub-district offices, neighborhood association (RW) halls, and other communal locations when the number of beneficiaries is large.

Direct delivery (home delivery): priority is given to the elderly, people with disabilities, or sick beneficiaries.

Pos Indonesia also prepares notification letters containing QR codes containing beneficiary details. These letters are sent in coordination with sub-district offices, neighborhood associations (RW), and neighborhood associations (RT) to schedule arrivals to avoid crowding.

Minister of Social Affairs: Aid Must Be Used Wisely and Targeted

In a dialogue following the inspection, Social Affairs Minister Syaifullah Yusuf emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring that aid truly reaches those who are entitled.

"We continue to improve data accuracy to ensure that aid is properly targeted. The public is now actively proposing and challenging data, and some beneficiaries even reject it because they feel they are no longer eligible. This is a very positive development," said the Minister of Social Affairs.

The Minister also encouraged the public to use this assistance wisely for basic needs and small business capital to boost family economic growth.

"This social assistance is temporary. I want people to be empowered and move up a class. Those who are still productive can move on to empowerment programs such as training and apprenticeships," he added.
