Vice President Gibran, accompanied by Minister of Manpower Yassierli, inspects the distribution of BSU at the Jakarta Flora KCU Post Office.
South Jakarta (July 17, 2025) — The Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, along with the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, Yassierli, paid a working visit to the Jakarta Flora Post Office in Fatmawati, South Jakarta, on Thursday (July 17th), to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the 2025 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU). This visit is part of the government's commitment to ensuring that the aid distribution process is carried out transparently, accountably, and inclusively, especially in urban areas with high levels of social mobility.
The 2025 BSU is a national strategic program to support the economic sustainability of formal workers earning less than IDR 3.5 million. The government is distributing aid of IDR 600,000 per person (for two months at a time), targeting more than 17.3 million workers throughout Indonesia. Of this assistance, 8.5 million are distributed through non-Himbara schemes, including through PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), known by its brand name PosIND, as the government's main partner.
As of mid-July 2025, the PosIND internal dashboard recorded that more than 5.7 million workers had registered as BSU recipients through the post office. Distribution was conducted through more than 4,000 service points, including head offices, branches, mobile services, and offline networks in the 3T (Underdeveloped, Frontier, and Remote) areas, underscoring PT Pos Indonesia's commitment to reaching the community comprehensively.
The Jakarta Flora Post Office, located in Fatmawati, South Jakarta, is a key operational hub for the distribution of the 2025 BSU in the Jakarta area. Thousands of workers have disbursed aid funds directly and digitally through mechanisms that prioritize data security and validity, including the use of biometrics and QR codes from the POSPAY application to ensure that aid is received by the authorized parties, as recorded by the Ministry of Manpower.
Series of Monitoring and Evaluation Activities for Vice President Gibran and Minister of Manpower Yassierli
Monitoring activities at the Jakarta Flora Post Office began with a welcoming ceremony for the Vice President by the Acting Minister of Manpower. The President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), Endy Pattia Rahmadi Abdurrahman, along with regional and local government leaders, were also present. The Vice President then welcomed the beneficiaries, symbolically handed over the BSU (Subsidy Assistance) to three recipient representatives, engaged in a warm dialogue with the participants, and reviewed the disbursement process at the counter.
During the visit, the Vice President and the Minister of Manpower expressed their appreciation for the post office's continued operation seven days a week, from morning until 9:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), adapting to the working hours of active workers. Postal services were also deemed successful in reaching unbanked workers in urban areas.
"This BSU is not just a form of assistance, but a tangible demonstration of the state's presence. I want to ensure that this assistance is not only well-targeted but also facilitates recipients in the field," said Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"Pos Indonesia has demonstrated extraordinary performance in reaching BSU recipients, including informal sector workers and those without bank accounts. This is the spirit of public service we hope for," added Minister of Manpower Yassierli.
Acting President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), Endy Pattia Rahmadi Abdurrahman, stated,
"We integrate technology-based services with direct field service. We offer POSPAY, biometric systems, and nighttime operations to ensure that every worker receives the best possible service."
Easy Access through POSPAY
Although most BSU recipients have not yet accessed digital banking services, PosIND provides technology integration through the Pos Giro Cash dashboard and the POSPAY app as a means of notification and checking aid status. Prospective BSU recipients are encouraged to regularly check their eligibility through the official BSU website of the Ministry of Manpower or the Pospay app.
POSPAY, owned by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), is one of the key breakthroughs in this year's BSU program. Through POSPAY, recipients can check their aid status, receive eligibility notifications, and display a QR code for fast and secure disbursement at post offices. The app is available on the Play Store and App Store, opening access for workers without bank accounts.
Requirements for Disbursing BSU at the Post Office
Before disbursing the 2025 BSU, recipients are required to:
● Bring their original ID card and a photocopy of their family card (KK)
● Show the QR code from the POSPAY application or an official notification as a recipient
● Disbursement of BSU at the post office cannot be done by proxy; it can only be done by the recipient in person.
In addition to the Vice President and Minister of Manpower, the monitoring and evaluation activity at the Jakarta Flora KCU Post Office was also attended by, among others, the Acting President Director of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), Endy Pattia Rahmadi Abdurrahman, regional government officials, and staff at the Jakarta Flora KCU Post Office.
The government continues to encourage the public to check their eligibility for BSU through the official websites bsu.kemnaker.go.id, bsu.bpjsketenagakerjaan.go.id, and the POSPAY application. The distribution of aid is being carried out in stages, prioritizing the principle of prudence, strict data validation, and multi-layered supervision to prevent misuse.
The public is also urged not to provide personal data or pay any parties offering expedited disbursement services. The BSU program is distributed free of charge.
The collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker RI), as an extension of the government, and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) in the 2025 BSU program reaffirms the government's commitment to protecting its citizens, especially vulnerable workers. Distribution through the Post Office network not only expands the reach of aid but also ensures fairness and efficiency, supported by technology and a continuously evolving dedication to public service.
This synergy between the government and state-owned enterprises provides a strong foundation for the effective, measurable, and equitable distribution of social assistance. BSU distribution through the Post Office network not only expands reach but also demonstrates the state's equal presence for all citizens.
