Lomba Menulis Surat untuk Pahlawanku 2025 : Ekspresikan Rasa Nasionalisme Anda!

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian Philatelic Enthusiasts Association (PFI) and PT Pos Indonesia, is once again holding the Letter Writing Competition for My Heroes.

This competition invites you to express your knowledge, thoughts, opinions, and feelings about our nation's heroes through a letter.

The competition is open to entries in the following categories:

1. Junior High School Students or Equivalent
2. High School Students or Equivalent
3. College Students (Bachelor's Degree) 

The deadline for sending letters is November 3, 2025 (Postmark).

Competition Terms and Conditions

Here are the complete terms and conditions for participating in the 2025 Letter to My Hero Writing Competition:

• The competition theme is "Letter to My Hero."
• Participants must complete the entry form, which can be downloaded from the official website www.lombamenulissurat.com. The form must be attached to the letter sent to the committee.
• Participant category must be proven by including their student ID card or university ID.
• Letter Writing Requirements:

• • Handwritten using a black/blue ink pen.
  • Written on a white sheet of paper.
  • Indonesian language.
  • Apply proper correspondence rules.
  • Must be your own original work, unpublished, and unpublished.
  • No artificial intelligence or other applications may be used to compose the letter.
  • Addressed to a national hero of Indonesia, the message should be free-form but should respect ethics and politeness.
  • Must be written in a maximum of 1,000 words.
• Mail Delivery:
• • The letter must be signed by the author.
  • It must be placed in an envelope bearing the author's (sender's) full address.
  • The letter must be accompanied by a completed participation form.
  • It must be sent by post with sufficient and valid postage.
  • It must be addressed to the following recipient address: 2025 Letter Writing Competition Committee, Letters for My Heroes, PO Box 8080 Bandung 40000.
  • Letters must be received no later than November 3, 2025, postmarked.
• Assessment: Incoming letters will be assessed by a jury specially formed by the Committee.The jury's decision is final and cannot be contested.
